DESCRIPTION:Girls Who CodeGrades 3-5GWC Club members will learn about comp
 uter science concepts, and just as importantly, they&#039;ll learn that th
 ey have a community in the computer science space!Throughout the Club, all
  members will:Learn to see themselves as computer scientists.Gain exposure
  to project management and problem solving techniques.Build sisterhood in 
 a safe and supportive environment of peers and role models.Learn about tec
 h innovators and professionals across a wide range of industries around th
 e world.Learn the foundational computer science concepts and computational
  thinking skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing tech landscape. L
 earn the basics of coding with hands-on activities and projects. This is a
 n ongoing club that requires a monthly commitment and will meet twice a mo
 nth from January – June. Girls Who Code is a national nonprofit organiza
 tion leading the movement to inspire, educate and equip girls with the com
 puting skills to pursue 21st-century opportunities. Girls Who Code clubs p
 rograms are designed for female participants but we welcome any member wh
 o wishes to join the Girls Who Code mission irrespective of gender identit
