Grades 6-12

November is Native American Heritage Month and is an opportunity for all Americans to learn about the historical status of Native American tribal governments; the present-day conditions of Native American people; their traditions and languages; and their rich cultural legacy. Celebrate and learn about this amazing culture by creating a sample of your own Wampum Belt while listening to songs from Eastern Woodland Tribes. Teens will earn 2 hours of community service by completing and submitting included question sheet to teen.department@wbpl.us.
