LONG ISLAND AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Monday, February 6, 6-8 pm WBJ210
Teens Grades 6-12 with parents / caregivers
LI ADV educates young people to recognize the signs between healthy relationships and controlling, abusive & manipulative ones.
Parents and teens will be separated into 3 different groups and rooms- grades 6-8, grades 9-12 and parents.
Counselors will provide resources and teach strategies on how to identify the signs of abuse; either dating violence, bullying, stalking and cyber bullying.
Teens will receive 2 hours of community service for attending this program.
