While the striped bass proudly holds the title of New York's state marine fish and draws anglers from around the globe in pursuit of a trophy “cow,” it’s far from the only star of Long Island’s waters. Beneath the surface lies a diverse array of fascinating fish species waiting to be discovered. Join us to uncover the stories of New York’s “other” incredible marine fish and the surprising encounters that make Long Island fishing unforgettable. (WBA225)

Adult Programs

Adult programs are for ADULTS ONLY. We welcome families and children to attend our other age appropriate programs.  

All in-person programs are intended to be enjoyed at the library. Program materials will not be distributed as take-home kits.

Program Reservations

Reservations will be held for 10 minutes. At that time, patrons that have failed to check in will forfeit their spot and refunds will NOT be given.

One Registration Per Card

Our programs are one registration per library card unless otherwise stated. Signing up more than one patron per library card will result in the registration being cancelled.
