Event Details

Dr. Rivadeneira, Director of the Northwell Health Cancer Institute at Huntington, will discuss preventing, diagnosing, and treating colorectal cancer and will explain the differences between colon and rectal cancer. He will discuss risk reducing strategies as well as the need for colonoscopy and the role of surgery in colorectal cancer. In addition, Dr. Rivadeneira will explain what cutting-edge technologies are being used to benefit patients with colorectal cancer. A Zoom link to the program will be provided by the Library. Program is in conjunction with the Copiague Library. Registration for all begins Thursday, March 3. (WBA210)
