Event Details

This session is for families and those who are caring for persons with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. It will allow families dealing with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia a chance to explore what it is like to be in the body and mind of someone with dementia. Focus will be on teaching caregivers about the importance of taking care of themselves as well; an often overlooked aspect of caretaking. Learn about supportive resources like respite; support groups, joint enrichment programs for caregivers and their care partners and more. (WBA207)
